To purchase an installation service for gobaplay, please contact our team on 0800 586 772.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the site the equipment will be located on is flat, level and clear of debris as well as being large enough for your selected items.

All gobaplay equipment installations are completed by our Third Party partners Kitset Assembly Services.

Third Party Installation

Customer orders gobaplay backyard play equipment + Installation
Product Ships to Customer (A Notification of Dispatch will let you know your gobaplay products are on their way via a 3rd party freight provider.)
Kitset Assembly Services contacts customer to coordinate installation date (within 3 business days of customer receiving their shipment)
Customer receives their scheduled date & time

If purchasing installation of gobaplay equipment, you agree that gobaplay New Zealand is not liable for any damage or issues resulting from their installation.

Important Information: Please ensure you are ready for your installation prior to your scheduled date. If our team arrives to install but cannot proceed with installation, a $50 fee may apply for rescheduling.

Follow the checklist below to ensure you are ready for your big day!

Verify you have received all your boxes
Someone 18 or older must be present at the installation location on the scheduled date and time and must be familiar with where the items will be installed.
To reschedule ahead of your installation date, please give us at least 24 hours notice.

Self Installation

If you live outside of our current installation areas or choose to self install, follow these guidelines to ensure a successful installation process:

1. Read the Manual

Before starting the installation, carefully read the provided manual or search for your product manual below. Familiarize yourself with the parts, tools required, and safety precautions.

2. Choose The Right Location

Select a suitable area in your backyard for the swing set or swing. Ensure there is enough space and that the ground is level. Avoid placing the swing set near obstacles such as trees, fences, or overhead wires. Clear the area of any debris, rocks, or potential hazards. If necessary, level the ground using a shovel or a rake. To ensure a safe and delightful swinging experience, it is crucial to select a sturdy tree branch when hanging the round swing. Make sure the chosen branch is robust enough to support the weight and movement of the swing. Additionally, ensure that there is sufficient clearance around the swing, allowing for unrestricted swinging motion and preventing any potential obstructions.

3. Assembly Steps

Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the manual to assemble the swing set or swing. Take your time to ensure that each step is performed correctly and securely. Pay close attention to safety guidelines outlined in the manual. Ensure that all bolts, screws, and fasteners are tightened properly. Check for any sharp edges or protruding parts that may pose a risk to users.

4. Post - Installation

After installation, periodically inspect the swing set or swing for any signs of wear, loose parts, or damage. Perform routine maintenance as recommended in the manual to prolong the lifespan of your product.
