Our expert team are located in Christchurch and houses our customer care, sales, marketing and logistics teams. Our NZ warehouse facilities are also located at this location. How long have you been in business? gobaplay is a subsidiary of the goba SPORTS GROUP which has been in business for 20 years. Our company is solely focused on backyards and specifically enjoying the great outdoors.

Springfree Trampoline, the New Zealand-based company, is part of the goba SPORTS GROUP and has been unparalleled in its commitment to quality and service distinction since 2008. The goba Sports Group has recently released its latest brand, gobaplay, to the market, continuing their tradition of serving customers with excellence.

The only way to ensure our quality and supply could be managed to our high standards was to build our own plant, with our own employees and our own quality control facilities. Our manufacturing facilities are located in China, and we are proud to report having one of the most stable workforces, with a strong emphasis on training, education and childcare for our associates. In order to ensure the integrity of all products under the goba Sports Group umbrella, it was important for us to oversee all aspects of the manufacturing, delivery and servicing.

Regular maintenance is essential to prolong the lifespan of your swing set or swing. We recommend periodically inspecting the equipment for any signs of wear or damage and tightening any loose bolts or screws. To clean the swing set or swing, use mild soap and water, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

We are proud to offer the best warranty in the business for swing set frames of this nature. While the typical Swing Sets have a one or two-year warranty on the frame, gobaplay is proud to offer a full five (5) year warranty on the frame. Made from powder-coated galvanized steel, we are confident that this product won’t bend or rust and we stand behind it with this industry-leading warranty.

Our climbing play sets are backed by a limitedtwo (2) year, non-transferable warranty that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Our individual swings are backed by a limited one (1) year, non-transferable warranty that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

gobaplay products are shipped nationwide except the Chatham Islands via maingfreight. We provide you with a tracking number via email once the product ships. Shipping will take up to 10 working days.

Shipping is a flat fee of $100 for all Swing Sets and the Dome.

The assembly time can vary depending on the specific model and your level of experience with similar projects. On average, it may take a few hours with two adults. The manual guides provided with your purchase will give you an estimated assembly time to help you plan accordingly.

The equipment must be anchored before use. Anchors are included at no charge with all swing sets and the climbing Dome. Failure to anchor the equipment can result in serious injury and damage and may void this warranty. This is especially important for windy conditions and under aggressive use.

This is dependent on the products that you purchase.

This is outlined below;

• Single Swing Set - 4 anchors
• Medium Swing Extension Set - 6 anchors
• Large Swing Extension Set - 6 anchors
• Geometric Climbing Dome - 3 anchors and 3 anchor plates

Our products should be positioned no less than 2m from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, building or overhanging trees or wires.

The 2m of clear space provides the user with a safe play zone to limit the possibility of hitting something hard like a wall or fence.

Currently, we do not offer professional services. However, we provide detailed manuals and assembly guides to assist you in the installation process. These resources are designed to make the assembly process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Link to assrmbly manual

The specific tools needed for your gobaplay products will be listed in the manual provided with your purchase as well as on our installation page.

We understand the importance of maintaining and repairing your swing sets and swings. We have a spare parts inventory and are committed to assisting you with any issues you may encounter. We will evaluate your situation on a case-by-case basis to determine the best course of action.

While ASTM Standards highly recommends installing swing sets & playsets over soft absorbent surfaces, such as mulch, sand, shredded rubber, and like padded materials, should you install on grass, ensure your grass is kept at a moderate length, properly maintained, and free of hard objects under the playsets. Long or overgrown grass can pose tripping hazards and may also be more prone to damage or wear from use and hardened/dried earth can create an unsafe landing surface. Additionally, it's important to properly anchor the set to the ground to prevent tipping or movement during use. This can be done by using ground anchors to secure the frame of the swing set to the ground.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your order, please review the following information regarding returns:

Within 30 days from the date of delivery, we allow customers to return their gobaplay products.

If your gobaplay products have not been opened or used, only the freight cost to return the products to gobaplay will be incurred.

If your gobaplay products have been opened or installed, the below conditions will apply;

Freight Costs of $100 to return the originally purchased model will be the customers responsibility

If the products have been installed, they must be dismantled at the customer’s expense and packed into its original packaging (if the original packaging is not available then gobaplay can send at the customer’s expense, boxes for packing).

Once returned, the products will be inspected and confirmed to be in good condition and is suitable to be sold as an ex-demo model, and a $100 restocking fee will apply.

If the products are not able to be certified as an ex-demo model, additional refurbishment costs may be charged to the customer.

gobaplay will then issue a refund of the purchase price including any promotions of all products returned. Any refund processed will be exclusive of any return freight, restocking fees or refurbishment costs.

If you change your mind for any reason after placing your gobaplay order, you can cancel (without charges) if it has not been shipped. Please call us at 0800 589 772 to determine if your order has shipped. Your order must be cancelled by phone as emails are not a recognized cancellation notice. If your order has shipped, please rest assured that you can return any unwanted items after you receive them in accordance with our return policy (see above). Each of the accessories attaches to the swing set with a carabiner clip making them easy to be changed while still be safely secured.

We currently have our round swing available for purchase separately but unfortunately are unable to offer our other accessories separately at this stage.
